The flagship BG9980 puts the design inside a 45 mm case machined from K9 optical crystal rather than metal, so the detailing is visible from every angle rather than only through the dial. The BG5605, BG5606 and BG5003 references take a more traditional route with stainless steel cases in silver and rose gold. All share the same mechanical base: a self-winding automatic with a 40-hour power reserve, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, rated to 30 metres.
